    Highly recommended-a great read

Good character development. The concept was different from the normal of good vs. bad. Good for young readers who love fantasy fiction. Also written for an adult to enjoy.

Michele Young takes the reader into a land of dragons, elves, trolls, and giants.

Lady Katerina, heir to the throne of Latharian, is the one to fulfill the prophecy predicted many years earlier and defeat the Black Magic. When she is betrayed, her own dragonstone turns black. As she disowns her stone, she now becomes powerless.
After a three-year absence, she has returned to claim her crown only to discover there are forces to be reckoned with. She has now has a personal guard, but who is he really? Can he be trusted? Logan has secrets he keeps hidden. With Katerina's life in danger, is Logan a protector or betrayer? Unless the prophecy is fulfilled and the truth revealed, Latharia will be destroyed.

A fantasy has to be a good read to get my attention. Dragonstone is just that. Michele Young takes the reader into a land of dragons, elves, trolls, and giants. The characters are so lively that you can't help but become connected with them. There is just enough suspense to keep you turning the pages to see what the outcome is. A sequel would top this off.
