Dream Island

Good story, can't wait for the author to develop more

This is the first book that I've read from Josie Litton. Not disappointed. I fully enjoyed the tale of Joanna and Alex. I thought it had potential to become too predictable, but was surprised at a number of twists and happily the book kept moving along in a pleasant pace. I truly appreciated that Alex respected Joanna and each approach to a sexual encounter convinced you of his integrity. What an excellent message. I think some parts could have been developed more, heightening the story (expand on Joanna's heightened aware of self since coming back from Akora; from psychological maturity to physical beauty; stop using the word capricious so much :) ), but on the whole it satisfied me. I suspect that when I purchase my next Litton novel, which will be started and finished today no doubt, I will have been happily entertained as I was in this delicious romance.

very pleased with this book

I really liked the imagery the book evoked. I liked that this island was very much like Atlantis. The romance wasn't bad either. (and it didn't take that long for them to get together.)

Okay, but not great!!!

I first read Dream of Me and I loved it. I have read it over and over. I also read the other two books to that story. Dream of Me was the best by far. I bought this book and I am a little dissapointed. It takes forever for Joanna and Alex to get together. I have the next book to this story and I hope that Kassandra's story is not like this one at all. I am sorry to offend anyone who really enjoyed this book, but myself, I like a book that is interesting from start to finish. I highly recommend Dream of Me.

exciting Regency romance

Ms. Litton¿s latest trilogy opens with an exciting Regency romance that takes the two stars refreshingly away from the Ton to an enchanting Shangri-La. The exciting story line enables the audience to taste a culture that is more isolated than most; though insightful, the description paints a place to enlightening and Utopian. Still, DREAM ISLAND is a wonderful tale that fans will enjoy while anxiously awaiting the next story, KINGDOM OF MOONLIGHT, starring Royce and Kassandra (Alex¿s Akoran sister).
