Not her best. I liked all her books except this one.

I thought Kurt was a jerk to the 10 power. The dream machine now that was a joke. Second book in this series was much better.

This was a cute story of a college prof. and a grad.student. She needs money to help her family and has had a crush on her prof. for yrs. The prof. in turn has lusted after the student but of course hasn't acted on it.
Fast forward six yrs. student is now graduating/looking for work and is signing up for one last experiment w/prof.
You don't get a lot of back story on Kurt (the Prof) but I found him likable. You do get a good back story on Becca and what makes her tick. The chemistry works between these two. And the story flows well, even if it's a little far fetched.
The author also introduces a good secondary character that I would like to read more about.
overall an enjoyable read if your not looking for anything too deep or believable.

As posted on The Smutty Kitty

    4 out of 5 Licks

When I discovered there was a book by Jayne Rylon that I hadn't read yet I knew I needed to rectify the situation immediately. Dream Machine takes us into the world of Becca's dreams and let me tell you this woman has some sexy dreams about her boss Kurt. Kurt and Becca make such a great couple because they each spend quite a bit of time fighting the growing love between them-one of my favorite things for characters to do is fight the attraction. These two may be fighting the love portion of the attraction but thanks to science they are not fighting the sex portion. lol Thanks to Becca's wicked dream desires they have all kinds of hot kinky sex. I'm quite happy to say we get our HEA for Kurt and Becca although the path at the end got very rocky.

My favorite part about this book though was Luke. He is one of those secondary characters that just took over for me. When he was in the scene he had my complete attention and sometimes even when he wasn't around I was thinking about him. I'm thrilled to say he recently got his own book, Healing Touch, come back tomorrow for that review. If you love Jayne Rylon, and quite frankly how could you not, then make sure you add this book to your collection. This one is sure to leave you with pleasant dreams.

    Beautiful awakening

Becca is a young woman extremely dedicated to her studies and the beginning of her career. So much so she supresses her desires. Some feel that for Becca to be an effective psycologist she needs to accept these desires within herself.
Dr. Kurt Foster, Becca's mentor and boss aids her with this. Under Kurt's guidance, care and love Becca becomes not only a confident woman, but a sexually confident woman.
Kurt has his own awakening. He doesn't believe love exists, despite his tender care of Becca. With some help and a lot of kicking and screaming on Kurt's part, he comes to the realization that he loves Becca. Kurt not only tells Becca he loves her, but shows her in the most tender way. If you want something unique and hot this story is for you.
