    Like watching a train wreck

    This book started out pretty good. My only complaint was the excessively long sections of description. I like more action. After a while, I started to enjoy some of the descriptions. Then the book started to go downhill fast. The male character became agressive, bordering on abusive. Then he fell apart when he didn't get his own way. The female character, Heather, was a major drama queen. She was extremely ill with some mystery illness that would come on suddenly and make her semi-conscious. I was so sick of Heather's incoherent dream-like existence where she rambled a few confused words and everyone was so concerned for her. Then there was the man Leo who was called and visited at any time, day or night and he and his wife would happily fall all over themselves to serve and pamper the inconsiderate person. I kept reading because I was curious to see how these characters resolved their issues. It was like watching a train wreck in the making. I knew the story couldn't end well but I was powerless to stop the inevitible. Finally, I couldn't take the sappiness nor the over-reacting to every little thing these people faced and I quit reading with only a few pages left. I felt annoyed that I had spent so much time on this fluff story.

    Different

    Very odd for a Christian romance. Some bad language & a few racy scenes. On the other hand, some parts of the book were very obviously Christian based. Just confusing & odd.

    Couldn't get into it

    Couldn't get into it, even after reading about 20 pages in. Very blah-- no action and all drama, like a lifetime movie...
