    A slice of cheese?

First, this book was much better than the last one. It is better because the audience is allowed to get much more involved with the characters themselves. This book and the last might be "transition" books but that doesn't mean that the author should skimp on quality. I felt that this book had much more romance then the last. I also really liked the character of Jericho.
Now, there are very good reasons as to why I chose not to give the book five stars. The first being, it was way to short. The pacing in this book came in rapid fire succession...guy gets cursed by Zeus....guy works as a car mechanic...guy meets girl...girl cooks up a cooky scheme to win guy over by seducing him...chaos insues. Well, that's all well in good, but sometimes the book just didn't seem realistic.
Now, I realize that Dark Hunter's aren't real. I am sure that I am not planning a trip to New Orleans to roam the streets at night hoping for a guy in a duster jacket (because for some reason all of Kenyon's heroes possess one) to come and swoop me off my feet, but just because it's a science fiction/romance novel doesn't mean that the women and men who read them aren't aware that there are portions of this book that are so cheesy that I found myself rolling my eyes.
For instance, the at the end of the book, when Ash introduces the "Dogs of War..." that scene is so cheesy it might as well be ripped from the screen from any Hollywood movie. I am worried that Sherrilyn Kenyon might be selling out in the hopes of getting a movie deal. Or at least her own pornographic cartoon on Adult Swim, but I digress, while this book has its flaws it is so much better than the "One Silent Night" that I found myself forgiving the small transgressions she made with this title.
I only hope that her work gets progressively better.

    Another page turner!!! ^-^

    Great!!!

    This book was amazing!!!

6,000 years ago, when Zeus ordered the oneroi stripped of their emotions, beaten, and had their children killed one of his sentinels spared a demi-god dream-hunter.As punishment, he stripped him of his godhood and banished him to the human realm. Now in the 2009 A.D. 2 ancient powers have risen to destroy them all, and they are trying to deflect the ancient Titan Cratus to their side with promises of revenge.

And the only one who can stop him is one of the very dream gods and friend to the dolophoni he despises.
As tension rises, while Noir and Azura gain power , Cratus learns the reason why he was cursed wasn't over sparing a simple demi-god Zeus ordered him to kill as punishment for being attacked in his dreams, but over an ancient prophecy that will rattle the very core of the entire Greek Pantheon.

This is really goood! Like Xmen the movie.

This is book reminds me of Xmen the movie. I liked it! I really like how the author blends her Dark Hunter series with this one. She is now one of my favorite authors, I like her style. I have only read one book of hers that I did not really care for (I gave it 3 stars and really should have given it 4 or 4.5 stars as it really deserved~Sin and Kat's story) though I did not give it five stars the author dramatically redeemed herself with the book called Acheron, of course that was my favorite one. This one is really good. I think you shoud read it, you will enjoy it :-) I really did.

You will not be able to put this book down. Very entertaining and you'll love the characters and how devoted they are to each other. Once again Ms. Kenyon knocked it out of the ball park. Can wait for next installment.

Must Read for Dark Hunter Lovers..

This was a solid 4.5 stars. It was by far the best of the Dream Hunter Books so far and that was cause it read like a Dark Hunter novel. There was tons of action and fighting. We had Cratus, a wounded warrior, ex-god, stripped of his powers, scarred by Zeus, and tortured for six thousand years. He has never known love or tenderness until he meets a woman, Delphine, with a heart full of love. SK did an amazing job with this deep plot that revealed a major betrayal from one of the gods against his own. There were also cameos from a few of my favorite men, Ash, Jaden and Zarek just to name a few.

I waited four months for this book to become available from my library, and almost skipped it. Well, this is a must read book in the series cause it answers so many questions about Jaden but create so many more. He was always a mystery character, kinda like Ash, and I can't get enough info about him. We are introduced to the new bad guys that are kinda taking the place of Striker in that they are pure evil. I can't wait to read the next book in this series

    Zeus has enemies1

Take one wronged egyptian god and a dream hunter and there is bound to be sparks. You get a nice peak into the opposition with Noir and Azura. It's a nice break from the entire dark hunter series (although they do appear in the book as well as Sanctuary.) This book redeems Nick in my eyes (since he detests Ash) and pretty much lets you know that Ash's mother isn't the only one who wants the Greek pantheon toast. Best to read it after the first three dream hunter novels. Sin and Kats story is a must read especially since its set up for them to fail but never you worry love prevails! Oh and Zeus is a douche.

I have never read any Sherrilyn Kenyon books that are not great
paranormal romance....this is just another example... If you read
paranormal romance, then put this author down as one that you need
to catch everyone of her books.. you won't be disappointed.

One if the best stories with lots of key players

This book was one of the best. Brought in Zeus and a bunch of the other Greek Gods that were only spoken of in other books. Also brought in other Gods/myths and reference to the Titans. I really enjoy Kenyons way of pulling together this series and tying it to other series (Were-Hunters; Dream Hunters and Chronicles of Nick). She really pulls off developing this entire "world" she created.

Not as good as previous novels

Dream Warrior is the fourth novel in Sherrilyn Kenyon's spin-off from the Dark Hunters, Dream-Hunter series. Dream Warrior is the story of Cratus, now known as Jericho. Cratus was a God before Zeus stripped him of his godhood because he refused to kill a female infant. Now 6,000 years later Zeus is in need of Jericho's help and Jericho is not a happy camper.

Delphine is the dream warrior assigned to make contact with Jericho and get him to help the good guys out. In this case both the good and the bad guys are after Jericho b/c he is the key to destruction for both sides. Delphine, later figured out, is an important piece to Jericho's life and readers will see the full circle turnabout in this novel.

The highlights of the story unfortunately are at the end with the introductions of the Dogs of War (Samia's story is out in August) and Nick. It is great seeing the Dark Hunters again and Ash who never seizes to amaze me.

The problems? With this novel the amount of supporting characters that were thrown in to the story didn't seem to make an impact. This novel almost seemed like one of SK's earlier works as her normal flow and design of the story wasn't present. I could not stay in tune to this book, unless past ones and found myself reading the story, but not really paying attention. It did not grab my attention.

I would rate this novel with 2 stars out of 5 unfortunately but I look forward to future novels and still love my Dark Hunter men!

    WOW!

Okay, I have to say I really liked this book. I've been following the entire series and was slightly disappointed with the last book, One Silent Night. But after reading this book it looks like we are headed in a new direction. Which is good because the series was needing something new.

We have new characters on bothsides, good and bad. I am excited to see these new versions of DH's. And it seems like one of our favorite charactes will be more involved in the series, Zarek. Yippy. Of coarse we still have Ash but he shares the spotlight with other major characters now and one of them seem to be Cratus.

I enjoyed the story between Cratus and Delphine. It wasn't overly romantic. It was sweet and exciting. There was a lot of action in the book, which I also enjoyed. If you aren't familiar with the series, you can probably pick up this book and read it. The recaps aren't over-the-top. Just enough to keep you in the loop of what's going on. But I will say this is a MUST read to continue on.

I am anxious to dicifer what's going with Jared and Jaden. Plus we are left with a WOW on the last page regarding Madoc that left me wanting the next book already. The series is headed in a new direction which seems to be very promising.
