As always, first-rate writing.  This book is at it's core a condemnation of the Middle Eastern wars we are embroiled in, past and present.  Regardless of your politics, required reading.

    Makes a great beer coaster

Very Informative, but grossly bias. I loved 'Burr' when I read it years ago, but 'Dreaming War' is nothing more than communist propaganda recycled post 9/11. I would say more, but I've already wasted enough time on this trash.

An Interesting Expose of Bush Designs

The book makes a fascinating reading. It exposes the game plan of business mafia for the control of petroleum resources of the world and gives the real background of present world crisis including American adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan. The theories propounded by Gore Vidal are believable because he is one of the top most living writers of America. His language is crisp and satire candid.I was enthralled by his calling Britain as Air craft carrier of America. Though short and rudimentry the book deserves to be read by all those who have any interest in the future of mankind.

    Thought provoking......

I thought this latest collection of Mr. Vidal's work was timely and well worth the read. I applaud his bluntness and 'tell it like it is' attitude concerning the U.S. and it's push for world domination. This book will be interesting to anyone who is searching for an alternative view as to what is going on in our crazy, sordid post 9/11 world. Highly recommended.

    Worth Reading

This was my first book I have read from Gore vidal and now I'm hooked and ready to read more. He writes about several events that have happened through the years and backs his thoughts and views with facts. This book is filled with information. It makes me want to continue to fight for change in our government and our corporate ruled world.
