Keeps u reading allthough after the detailed battle that led Acosta's death the book takes an effort to finish.

    Couldn't put it down

Very well written, engaging, strong... puts a lot of "intellectual" novels to shame on all accounts. I loved it

Hit the nail on the head!

Very accurately told. I have been on the front lines of the farce that is the 'War on Drugs' for too many years. This is a great story that every American should read!

    MUST READ

This book is a must read for any person. It keeps you on the edge of your seat as if you were watching a thriller movie. The ride that the author takes you on is unforgetable.

    College Grad vs The Scoundral

This information is such an important part of US and Mexican History yet you can't read about it anywhere else! Particulary interesting is Poppa's revenue comparison betwen Pemex and the Amado fuentes Mafia. Any study on immigration or Mexican/US Economic Policy is incomplete with out the info in this book. Must read. THIS SHOULD BE A MOVIE.
