My Daughter's Kindergarten Class LOVED IT!!
We bought this book for my daughter's kindergarten class. For each child's birthday, the family brings in a book to read, then donate. At the end of the year, they have a class birthday party (with cupcakes and stuff) and each child gets to bring home a book that one of their classmates brought in.
My daughter's class loved this book! It was great fun to read it to them and the discussion afterward was lively.

A fun read-aloud book
My 3 yr old LOVES this book! It is a fun book to read aloud and be very animated with. She laughs through the whole thing. I am not sure she quite 'gets' that his friends think Max was cooked but she thinks it is funny anyway!
