Incredible album by an incredible Blues guitarist!
"The best guitarist you have never heard of" has been said many times about Joe Bonamassa. Nowadays many HAVE heard of him and those who have are huge fans. This latest album shows his diversity and range of talent with songs ranging from country to classic blues to one previously recorded by Streisand. He leaves his distinctive mark on them all, yet stretches his wings and shows off new ideas. I'm having a hard time picking a favorite track. Slow Train, Dust Bowl, Meaning of the Blues all take you straight to Blues Heaven. Last Matador cries so sweet. Whale that Swallowed Jonah picks you up and swings you around. John Hiatt, Glenn Hughes, Vince Gill and Beth Hart join in on vocals but Joe's voice outshines them all. Try this album if you are new to Bonamassa, it is a must have for those already fans. And if you ever have the chance, you have to see this man live on stage. He puts on an incredible show. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
