A more realistic view of the clothed figure
I have been an aspiring artist for years always drawing the muscular detailed figure in the nude until I got this book three years ago. This book has completly changed my perspective of the clothed figure. From anchor points and stressed areas of the figure to dormant drapery and cross wrinkles, Mr.Hogarth uses a variety of figures, scenes, even eras to elaborate on the different effects of nature on different materials. I now realize how fun it is to draw different materials. For those who don't think the clothed figure is all that interesting as opposed to the nude or spandex wearing comic book figure give this book a try.
