I came across this short story in need of something light after the long and dramatic book I had just finished. I am now in search for either this Eagletwerp Buckethead or the author to complain of the pain in my side from holding in laughter. I was in quite a snit. I then went on to his other Eaglehorn Boxcar adventure and was further grieviously wounded. I do love pie, and a ending that leaves you hanging with 'what will happen in these manly adventures now of Eagletwit Boxcart??' I recommend this to those that have a great sense of humor, and of course, a love for pie.

The tale of a storyteller. Quite a funny short read.

Being a person who reads full length fantasy novels due to the fact the genre is based on creating an imaginary land with new creatures takes more than 150 pages to do right usually, i rarely grab short stories. I'm glad i got this one. While not being good in character development or even plot, this story has a unique quality about it. It's just that, a story. Its the main character just telling a story, but his way of thinking and talking is hilarious. Everybody has a grandfather or friend who likes to tell stories, embellishing the good parts, which makes this quite relatable. Its one that should be read by anybody with a sense of humor.

    Needs editing

This is quite a rolicking good story, told in a witty and tongue-in-cheek style. However, this book is in need of close proofreading, as usage errors and typos detract from the overall reading experience.

    silly but entertaining

I did not find it all that funny, but it was entertaining. This read like a Dr Suess book for adults.
