Overall pretty good book with some pro's and cons. Pro's- The book is kid friendly; has a story at the beginning of the book and offers some duties for kids to do while preparing some of the recipes. Also like that there's an index in the back of the book for finding recipes and the allergen index is a great addition, haven't seen this before. Cons-this book is more gluten free, than Paleo! The treats actually outnumber the food recipes and many of the recipes have non-paleo ingredients or ingredients that may deter you from reaching your goals if you want to lean out or attain true health. We have found that with our own kids, eating treats that are "paleo" will limit the amount of nutritious foods our kids will actually eat. This book will be good for treats, but not a daily recipe book for us. Having way too many treats or calling something paleo when really it's more gluten free can be a downfall so you have to take some precaution. Lastly, some of the photography looks good, while other pics look a bit less appetizing.
