A classroom story to touch your heart.
Eddy's dream is set in a classroom, as are many of Ms. Cohen's books. Illustrated with photographs, it tells about a group of children who, after talking about their dreams decide to put on a play about their dreams. Eddy says dreans are silly and won't join in, but his negative attitude changes when a classmate lines up the classroom chairs to make an airplane and tranforms the play into what he believes is Eddy's dream. . .to go to visit his grandmother. This book shows how children, under the influence of a caring teacher learn to care for each other. This is a good book for class discussions on emotions and kindness. Was this review helpful?
