Highly readable and inspirational!
I read it during my commute to and from the office and actually looked forward to boarding the subway so I could continue reading. When I reached the last chapter I was sorry it had to end. I was given the book since I've dabbled as a painter and was blown away and fascinated by the story of Elizabeth Sparhawk-Jones, who I really didn't know much about. She was truly a gifted and spirited woman and her dealing with her mental illness was haunting but also left me feeling inspired. Reading this book, it's clear that the artworld is not for the fainthearted (and depression sucks). But I also liked it because it's a general read for anyone interested in women whose lives meant something and still do.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
