    Okay Book..

The book Emergency Room by Caroline B. Cooney was is about two teenagers who volunteer at a hospital (Diana and Seth)to try and get a front row seat for the action which makes this book a good read for anyone that likes action or adventure. However, Seth also has a crush on Diana which makes this book good for girls as well.
Early on the volunteers are disappointed because the staff members that actually work at the hospital look down upon them. About a half hour into their shift a eighteen year old girl named Jersey who got hit from a stray bullet in a drug battle was rushed into the emergency room. Seth and Diana saw the girl and it made them realize how precious life is. They learned many things from Jerseys wound (including that a gunshot wound was known as a GSW).
Another half hour later, a seventeen year old boy named Alec came into the emergency room after he was hurt in a really bad motorcycle accident. He was fighting for his life. When he asked the doctors if he was going to live, they said probably not.
Diana had grown up her whole life with just her mom after her father had completely abandoned them when Diana was little, but about another half hour after Alec had came in, a old man came in to the emergency room. That old man had the same exact name as Diana's dad. She never got the courage to ask him about his life.

Overall, I recommend this book to anyone that likes action, adventure, a little bit of romance or even anyone that likes other Caroline B. Cooney books.

A good book you should read!!!

Jersey got shot on her way to the mall and didn't realise she did. This was after she recieved mail from her dad and it was $100. She wanted to go buy some new shoes she has been wanting for a long time.
