Got it because of a class assignment kept it for future

Eric Schiffer¿s book, Emotionally Charged Learning is one of the best I have ever read on the topic. I am a business major and have done much research on leadership. This book really helped me identify how a leader best educates his people. I got this book for a class assignment, but I plan to keep it for future leadership plans. Leaders are not the only ones who should read this book, everyone should. I learned so much from the book that can be applied in every day life. The first section was the best, but the rest of the book supplemented the first section very well. Where other books have failed, Schiffer has triumphantly achieved. This book if used correctly can shape a leader out of anyone who abides by it. With plenty of examples and easy to understand language, Emotionally Charged Learning should be recommended for all. It is a must read for anyone about to enter the working world to people who have been there for a while. The material is so interesting that this 130 page book flies by in no time at all. While reading all I wanted to do was see what was on the next page. This book really impressed me and changed a bit of my thinking. Now I am about to graduate in 2 weeks time and I feel much more comfortable in entering the 'real world'.

    Emotionally Charged Research

Will it come as a surprise that a thorough research endeavor, which set out to show how powerful emotions are in the learning process and when applied give the elements that businesses use to become great? Eric Schiffer¹s work reads like a series of remarkable revelations, which provide insight on the processes of organizational learning and achieving greatness. What is perhaps most amazing about this work (and it is amazing in many ways) is how Schiffer created such a simple and readable book about an utterly complex subject. Schiffer set out to find what it takes to a make learning and training happen in the 21st Century. The book is a detailed explanation of the many elements of organizational learning greatness and how they contribute to a calculus of growth and improvement. This book will not disappoint anyone interested in organizational learning, culture, leadership or change. It is loaded with personal and organizational stories from the good to great companies. Nor will it trouble anyone interested in research as Schiffer includes detailed explanations of their methodologies throughout the book. This book will always have a special place on the book shelf. While it is fascinating and instructive on many levels, it has provided nourishment for my heart and soul. What it tells us is that great organizations and people are able to get better and grow and become the best they possibly can be.

Emotionally Charged Learning: Secrets to Competitive Advantages for the Second Half of the Knowledge/Entertainment Based Economy

I don't normally ever buy this kind of book. I kept seeing it on the best seller list's and my curiosity started eating at me. Then I had several of my best friends mention it to me at church and I kept seeing on the top lists of books to buy. OK, I broke down and got it. I went through it hoping that I would hate it. The more I read it, the more compelled I became by the book. It is written in a very exciting and fascinating way and makes you want to keep learning. So I go into work on Monday and started applying some of the concepts and practical applications in the book. People telling me (I don't normally hear this alot with the type of employees I have) I have some very good ideas and why this was not shown to them before. I had to think to myself how silly I had been for not putting aside my skepticism and buying what has clearly become a very popular business book for all kinds of people in organizations. Live and learn I guess. Hope this helps you save some time on your end.

    Must read!

If you are looking to build the most powerful learning organization possible or want to teach or learn information in the best way you can then 'Emotionally Charged Learning' is the answer. Anyone in my company that does not have this book on their desk is not reading the most up-to-the-minute inside information on using emotions to impact learning throughout the organization. I may sound like a convert but it is only because I purchased this book after looking at the best seller list and purchased it because it looked compelling and had heard the buzz about it from friends and co-workers. I read it and wow! Many of the things in the book I have already implemented both in my own life and with the people within my organization.
