    Swashbuckling !

Great book, informative and thrilling read. Nicely written well worth buying. Great addition to any historians library or anyone who is interested in the true pirate era.

    more from this reviewer

    I Also Recommend:

    "Ahoy Matey"!!!

Ahoy Matey is a saying you will 'Not' find in this book. Henry Morgan was a dastardly, brave buccaneer. A true non-fiction book about pirates in the 1600's. This is not a outlandish book about swashbuckling that you see in hollywood movies. Captain Morgan will keep your attention through out, Mr. Talty writing is excellent & will keep the reader wanting more.

I couldn't put the book down!

This book is a fascinating study on Henry Morgan, the pirate. I highly recommed this book to anyone interested in history. I could hardly put it down! I never write reviews, but I was compelled to write this review so that should say alot about the quality of this book. This is not a corny pirate tale but it is well researched and thourough.

    A good read.

Parts of the book are very engaging, particularly Morgan's raid on Panama City.

    Good Book

I had a hard time reading the first couple of chapters. Lots of names and dates... too many to remember or think about. I'm glad I stuck with it. It turned out to be the most interesting and eye opening book. A REAL picture of what pirates were! Not the romanticized version we see in movies.

    Henry Morgan

I loved this book! It was not dull as some books of this type are, interesting. The story gives you a good glimpse of Henry Morgan and a pirate's life.
