    GG

My friend just received a cancer diagnosis in her spine and hips. When I ordered the book I was not aware of the diagnosis and was not sure what the book would be about. I am so grateful to have chosen the book as it gave me much comfort and understanding about what she might be going through. I'm certainly not at a level of understanding and meditation that Lee is but hopefully will learn more as we go through this life changing event.

    more from this reviewer

    Makes you reflect

Simply written and stated. But the message comes through clearly. The message is to love and cherish your time with you children and your spouse, to not harbor resentments. Try to do that which you will enjoy. Your life will be rich. The author seemingly held on to his dignity through his terminal illness. Not a light tale given the circumstances, but worthwhile.

    Wonderful, quick read

This is the story of a remarkable man & his inspiring story to be grateful in the face of adversity. The gist is to live in the present moment and enjoy the life you have, in spite of your circumstances. I am grateful for the illumination this book provided. It offers a very powerful message. I was clearly moved to a different plateau of appreciation having gained authentic insight through Mr. Lipsenthal's documented journey.
