Excellent Book on Basic Buddhism
The selections of this text are excellent and offer the beginner (or advanced student) an excellent reference to the broad spectrum of Buddhist philosophy. I would give this book 5 stars if it wasn't for the author's misinformed attempt to set Tibetian Buddhism above the other schools along with their condescending attitude to the Theravada tradition. The book would be better off without the editor's comments; the various schools of Buddhism really are not that different. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
