    Excellent but depressing.

This book is educational but horribly depressing. I, of course, knew about the concentration camps of WWII but never knew about the three death camps and how they differ from other camps. I'm glad I read this book because of the knowledge I gained from it but I cannot say I enjoyed it, very sad.

    The movie was good, too-

-But as usual, the book was better! A heartwrenchingly captivating book. As humans we may never learn from our mistakes, but this is reason enough to hope that, for the sake of our future, we can at least prevent these sorts of atrocities from happening to our children if nothing else. This book should be mandatory reading material.

Everyone should know and remember what happened so this never happens again.

This book is not only about the Nazi death camp, Sobibor, where more than 250,000 Jews were murdered, but also about the brave few who fought back and escaped. The stories of those who survived are harrowing to put it mildly. Everyone should read this and know what happened to so many innocent people simply because they were Jewish. We must never forget .... we must never let this happen again.

    WOW! Extremely informative and interesting.

WOW! This book lets the reader in on a lot of things going on behind the scenes that one would never realize or even imagine! The things people went through and lived to tell..incredibly amazing. Really makes you think about a lot things --and don't take all for granted! This book involved all nationalities too. Very good read. You'll learn a lot.

Incredible story recounting the grim reality of WWII death camps and a most unlikely escape and survival for a very, very few.
