Not my cup of tea. I can see how others compare this author to

Not my cup of tea. I can see how others compare this author to JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series and I had hoped I would enjoy it as much, however in my opinion Laura Wright falls short. In the BDB books the aggression is taken out on the enemy and in combat. In these books some of that bleeds over into the romance. The author is very fond of the c*** word which for me is very offputting and definitely not conducive to romance. The books are well written and the storylines are good which is why I gave it three stars instead of one or two.

    It was O.K.

To be honest I found the book to be O.K. I expected it to be a lot better than it was based on the reviews it received! I felt like even though the plot was good there was something missing overall in the book and between the main characters.

Also i felt that the author did a good job at setting up the characters and making you interested in them and what happens next but then the story would just fall flat which made me super disappointed.

Finally like someone mentioned in an earlier review, I was not too crazy over the use of the c-word. Overall I thought the book was O.K. It does have a lot of potential though and it seems like this book might be a part of a future trilogy because they are two other brothers involved in the story as well. Hopefully the next book is better. I might read it.
