One of the best books ever - couldn't stop reading it!

Its about a badger named Gorath. In the begining Gorath lived with his grandkin(grandparents)in the northern isles.Because of the Great Vermin Wars which drove them to the northern isles.Later after his grandkin got so old that they couldnt work on the land a raiding party came and set fire to the house and grandkin. That was when Gorath swore to slay Vizka Longtooth and his brother. While on Vizka Longtooth's ship Gorath was starved.Time past til one day he met a hedgehog named Orkwil who was found and taken allong the boat. then one day they ....and thats all im telling the rest you'll have to find out.Inclouding the people from Salamandstong and Redwall abbey and what they do.

I've been reading this series for a long time. I enjoy them very much. This story is good. I wish it had more familiar characters from the series. If you like the redwall series this one is for you.

    Eulalia online book review

I think that even though this book is the 19th in its series, it is still a great book; given a couple of weak points. The plot lacked enough strength to for readers to understand what was going on all the time. The ending was pretty predictable with the hero killing the bad guy as usual. It almost seemed as if Brian Jacques had a hard time finding ideas for the plot, as he had used them all in his former books. The characters were very original, despite having 18 other books with about 50 characters each. A classic riveting adventure and battle made this book worth it. The book was very articulate in word choice and had great voice. Although it would be a good idea for readers to read other books in the series before this one so they can get an understanding of how Jacques writes; as he has a very unique style. Overall, this is a book for kids and adults who love fantasy and don't give up on books easily.

    Just okay

Being a great Redwall fan, I was quite dissapointed in this book. The plot seemed to be all over the place and was well structured. Many things seemed to be predictable, and towards the end, it seemed as if Jacques was running out of ideas. The book was hastily thrown together and lacked the charm seen in the other Redwall books.

    EULALIA!!!, awed reader

Eulalia is a action packed book. The plot is quite intresting and has many twists and turns. When I was reading I felt as if I was there. The story is about a young farmer's quest to gain revenge at the expense of a golden fox.

One of the best book series

I have read all the Redwall books, save this one which I plan to read very soon. I was not a fan of the series until about 2 years ago when my friends tied me to a chair and made me read it...now it is on of my favorite books.

I haven't read this yet, but I'm going to get it today, and it looks goooood! I've read all the other eighteen books in the Redwall series, and as you all can tell if you've read one before, this book is the war cry of the Long Patrol Hairs: 'Eulalia!' I cannot wait to read it, being a big series reader and writer myself. Since I'm a kid I'm still working on my three hundred page book 'The Last Laugh' series. HOpe you like this book and mine! Oo ^_^

    Redwall!

I have not read this book but am looking forward to it. I've read every other Redwall book and, if this book is like the others, I highly recommend it. Also, if you want to know how great these books are, I didn't like reading until I had to do a book report on a 300+ page book. One of my friends had read more than a few of the Redwall series and told me about it. I finished the first 18 books before him... and got an A on my report.

The Long Patrol hares' Battle Cry

The title of the book is the recognized battle cry of the Long Patrol Hare warriors of Salamandastron. This castle fort seaport gets its share of raiders and pirate types.A badger lord is needed to rule this fort and one of the Long hares has been sent to find him. The problems encountered along the way, make for another rip- roaring tale full of adventure, surprises, battles, and a visit to Redwall Abbey, of course.
