What a GREAT Beginning to a Wonderful Series. Alexia Purdy has done it again with this Dark Faerie Tale. It's got EVERYTHING Anyone could want: Evil Queens, Witches, Faeries of ALL Kinds, Changelings that can Change into anything they want. It's Really AMAZING!

For all the 5 stare reviews I was sorrily disappointed. First, the
dialogue isn't realistic and sometimes doesn't seem to fit with how
people actually talk. Second, the main character complains throughout
the entire book and her attitude never changes Third, there was no
character development. Fourth, I don't think the author proof-read her
story or had an editor for all the mistakes there were. It was laughable
how poor her grammatical skills were. Overall the story lacked depth and
a climax... it just sort of ended. Lastly, I don't rightly know what age
group this would fall under but it seemed a little elementary for a teen
book too. Sorry, would not recommend.

    Great potential...

poor execution. Abundant gramatical errors and missing or incorrect words. Reads like a first draft of something that could have been polished into a wonderful story. All the elements of a great adventure tale are present, but they just don't quite come together.

I hope that the author continues to write and hone her craft, but I don't think I will be buying the next installment.

    Did not find readable

The summary and other reviews looked promising. I found the editing to be poor. The exposition was not believable. The dialog did not feel natural. The book is designed for a younger audience, but there are better fantasy genre books out there. It reads as fan fiction rather than literature.

    great story

Love the plot line and characters but this book seriously needs an editor. It rambles on and on and there are lots of grammatical errors both of which make for a frustrating read.
