I had so much expectations for this book....I kept counting the days until it would finally be here so I could read it and finally find that happy ending I was expecting for that certain someone..... I was disappointed the book didn't end like I was hoping it would but none the less it was a fair ending, not the best in my opinion. I felt the book was a bit boring at times, not much going on so I had to rush reading sometimes so I could get to an interesting part. I do recommend reading this last book so you can have closure on the series.

After I read the first two books in this series, I fully expected to love the third book. I didn't, but I didn't hate it either.

The reason I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first two is that I felt emotionally disconnected from the story and characters. It felt like we were playing ring-around-the-rosie with the first two books. It repeated a lot of the same things from the second book, yet didn't really introduce much new material. There were more trips between Earth and the Everneath, more back and forth between Jack and Cole, more running around, more "disappearances". While I should have been glad that this book didn't veer off on some unrelated path, I wish that there had been more substance to it.

However, I still devoured the book. Brodi Ashton knows how to keep me reading, even when I should quit (like in the middle of the night). I liked the conclusion, the way stories and characters got resolved. I liked the way Cole changed over the course of this book, which is something we didn't see much of in the rest of the series. I liked how Nikki and Jack both had to find it in themselves to forgive some people and let go of past hurts.

    Content: Some profanity and innuendo

i loved the first two in the trilogy, this series is still in my top 5 fav's, but the third one was a little lower than what i was expecting.
i loved how the characters were all in it together still and i loved the whole premise, but i felt like it went too fast almost and i didn't much
care for what happened to cole around page 120 or so too almost the end, but i get why she did it (& im also a Cole fan so..lol).
Also from the first two we know there has to be a fight with the queen and that scene i felt was something to be desired, it almost
happened too quickly for me. But overall, it was still a great book if you have read the first two deff read the 3rd bc its still deff worth it :)
