The first not so secret is that Every Last Secret is a great rea

The first not so secret is that Every Last Secret is a great read! It starts out slow and builds to a dramatic peak and then declines to a more than satisfactory cliff-hanging conclusion. By the end of the book you come to care about Skeet and the people in her life. The characters surrounding Skeet are fully developed and by reflection give insights into who is the real Skeet. The villians and suspects are interestingly described. The background settings of the town, Kansas City and especially campus life and politics are all vividly described and explored. Don't keep this one a secret. Buy, read and tell everyone.

Super heroine - tough, conflicted, compassionate

This mystery is a well-plotted, with great characterization and a mix of fictional and real places. The campus police chief heroine, Skeet, is an intriguing character surrounded by other people you want to know or never want to be around. The pacing is excellent. This is a great read.
