FOR MY FOOTBALL LOVERS
This book is not for everybody, it talks about the week leading up to a division 1-a football game and gives you the behind the scenes at what it really takes to be a college football coach. They pick some of the top coaches from the top teams, and got the input on all the physical and mental stress they go through. They even stop to talk to some of there players to get there opinion. Im a college football player myself and it gave me a better insight on the work coaches do. For some time I though that all they did was call in plays, but the more I read the more I learned!!

Interesting to a point...
This book gives some interesting behind-the-scenes looks at some college football teams getting ready for games last season. It gets a bit tedious and repetitive after awhile, however, since most of the many programs he profiles have similar methods for getting ready. The author is more fawning than critical and he often doesn't follow up on points - for example, he may talk about the coaches noticing something during their film sessions but rarely comes back and says whether the adjustments they make have an impact on the games. Overall it isn't a bad book to skim through, but it could have been better.
