    A way to live

Very helpful, uses multiple philosophies to help one create a full and satisfying life. Uses some of the ideas of Buddhism, Christianity, and 12 step programs.Personal responisibility, loving kindness, and a way to ground oneself in reality that helped me with the stresses and issues of life.

    Life-Changing

Everyday Commitments is a powerful book that can change your life. I discovered Dave Richo¿s books about a year ago and I think they are amazing, each one better than the last. They are full of ¿aha¿ moments, rich with insight, connections, and humor. He draws from an extensive knowledge of many cultural and spiritual traditions, and distills broad concepts into clear simple truths. Everyday Commitments brings these truths home. It is a plan of action and a tool for change. It is a kind and gentle roadmap to our best selves. I gave it to everyone important to me because I know they will like this book as much as I do. What a wonderful place the world would be if everyone read this book and practiced their Everyday Commitments.
