Awesome!!

I think this book is a must-have for all those looking to trim their waste line. The Everyday Healthy website gave me a tremendous start to my weight loss and fitness regime. When this book came along, I was thrilled. Now, I do not have to order what I think is going...
I think this book is a must-have for all those looking to trim their waste line. The Everyday Healthy website gave me a tremendous start to my weight loss and fitness regime. When this book came along, I was thrilled. Now, I do not have to order what I think is going to be better for me and come home, plug it in to my counter and hold my breath to see what damage I have done. I just have this book handy in my purse and make my selections ahead of time. You can actually go to the restaurants now and not be afraid!

No Good on Nook

Tried reading this on Nook. The 1st section containing diet instructions, food facts, etc. read fine. The food counts are a disaster. Tried to read them, pages display in horizontal mode when holding nook in portrait view, turn it horizontal and they display in portra...
Tried reading this on Nook. The 1st section containing diet instructions, food facts, etc. read fine. The food counts are a disaster. Tried to read them, pages display in horizontal mode when holding nook in portrait view, turn it horizontal and they display in portrait view, UPSIDE DOWN.
So I tried reading it on PC. First section is okay, get to food counts and the pages only display as horizontal mode but with left side of page at bottom of monitor. Plus you can't see the names of the foods, only the nutrition info. After adjusting text size and margins, I was able to see maybe 1/3 of the food name.
This book was a waste of money for the nook version. PLUS, its only 38 pages. I have a paperback book of food counts by a different author and it's over 700 pages. 38 pages can only scratch the surface of the food counts a person needs to watch what they eat.
If I could return this book, I would. I feel like I've been ripped off.

    A Must-Have If You're Serious About Losing Weight

    This is a great tool for anyone who's serious about losing weight. There really isn't any magic pill for long-term weight loss, it's about calories in and calories out. This book is small enough to carry in your purse and bring with you to the grocery store and restaurants. It has sections on calories from store brands, restaurant foods from many chain restaurants, and foods you eat at home (vegetables, breads, meats, etc.). It also has sections on how many calories you need, portion sizes, and setting weight-loss goals. Overall, this book is a must for anyone who wants to lose weight or even if you just want to get a better understanding of what's really going into your body!

    I found this book helpful. It is a CALORIE COUNTER .

    It is not a novel . It is a tool for someone to look up the amount of calories in food that you might eat .

    This is actually very good!!

    This was just recently featured on The Doctors show and is an exceptional tool. Very Very easy to use! PLUS there is More than 38 pages. The food charts dont count for pages, and there are lots of restraunts to use as well! VERY USER FRIENDLY! Thank you Everyday Health!

    The best calorie counting book!

    I recently won this book in a contest and it came at a good time. I just started counting calories, so I was excited to get this book. It's very updated and has lots of information! Lots of restaurants, common foods and store brands. It also has sections about how many calories you need, tips for staying on track, information on carbs, protein, fats, etc. It's very helpful and I use it daily to help me keep track. It's even more updated than popular websites. It's small enough to carry in your purse or bag, making it very handy when eating out. I highly recommend this book! It's helped me on a daily basis!
