A Personalized Rusty Math Book
Everyday Math for Everyday Life could serve as a perfect stand-in for my, or anyone else's, personal math tutor! Mark Ryan's talent for mathematics coupled with a desire to help others is evident as he offers refreshing instruction to those of us with weak or rusty math skill. Subtle humor splashed the pages while I learned how to tackle the seemingly complex situations involving math in my daily life. With this book as a guide, I'll never fear helping children with math homework again, nor will I duck away from conversation involving finance or insurance. I might have overlooked this book had I not been led to it during a math course, and for that I'm grateful, because it will hold center stage in my library from now on and should be the math book of choice for any average person as an invaluable resource of basic formulas and fundamental math concepts. Very easy to read and follow, it keeps math simple and fun. My conclusion is that everyone should have had a math instructor like Mr. Ryan. Owning his book is the next best thing. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
