amazing book!
I just started working out at a local gym and was introduced to this book. Pretty much everyone at the gym follows the paleo diet and raves about it. I just got my book in the mail today. It is so much more than a cook book! It gives the basics for the paleo diet, what staples to keep in stock at all times, information to help get your family involved in the change in diet, a 30 day meal plan, lunch ideas to send kids to school with, and workouts to follow (that can be done at home). The recipes all have pictures (I am very visual when it comes to picking out what I want to cook). My fiance was even excited when I got the book; he's looking forward to picking out some meals to make.
All in all, this seems to be a fantastic book, and I hope there will be more coming out from this author!11 out of 13 people found this review helpful.

Great reference and cookbook! Easy, easy, easy!
This supermom has figured it out! Eating healthy does not mean sacrificing flavor and variety. I've been eating a Paleo diet for over a month and Sarah's recipes have been my bible! This is also great for beginners who need step by step instruction on stocking your pantry and making paleo eating a lifestyle....not just a diet. Kudos to Sarah Fragoso!

Must-read for Current and Prospective Paleos
It's so nice and refreshing to read a Paleo book by a fellow woman-- we have a different relationship with food and our bodies than men do, and Fragoso does a great job discussing the Paleo lifestyle from a woman's perspective. There are also no dense scientific discussions by doctors or PhDs-- instead, Fragoso makes Paleo accessible to "everyday" people with families and no scientific backgrounds. Her recipes are creative, diverse, and aesthetically pleasing; her fitness section is extremely helpful for people who cannot go to the gym. I've been Paleo for over a year and would recommend this book first to people who are new to the lifestyle-- not only for the recipes, meal plans, and basic overview, but also because she explains what to do in non-Paleo food situations and how to live Paleo in our modern, Standard American Diet world.

A must have cook book
I am new to the Paleo lifestyle, I was a little apprehensive to start because of the bland meals I have seen my boyfriend eat. If I didn't have this book with these amazing recipes I might of quit the first day! There is a nice variety and selection to choose from, I also very much like the desserts section. If you are new to the Paleo diet this book will help you make the lifestyle transition a lot easier!

The best cookbook I've ever gotten
I found her blog a while back and never really enjoyed cooking and was especially bored with trying to figure out how to eat paleo. My family (who is very picky) has enjoyed everyone of her recipes so I was excited when she was publishing this cookbook. It is so much more than just a cookbook. The recipes are wonderful with great pictures. The topic of paleo is foreign to a lot of people but with her explanation it makes it wonderful. The ideas of how to incorporate your family into this lifestyle are very helpful!

A Good Place to Start
The paleo diet, also known as the caveman diet, focuses on unprocessed foods that include (preferably organic) lean meats, seafood, eggs, vegetables, nuts, healthy fats, and fruit. Everyday Paleo is an easy to follow guide that is mostly a cookbook but also includes a fitness section. What makes this book enjoyable to read is the author's passion for this lifestyle that is reflected throughout. I also appreciated how she includes fitness ideas and recipes with children and teens in mind so that the whole family can benefit from the lifestyle. There are even recipes and suggestions for what to pack in kids' lunches.
The recipes themselves seem easy to make. I made the Egg Cupcakes which are kind of like mini frittatas or quiches without a crust and enjoyed them for a lunch and later as a quick snack. Photos of the recipes are included which is always a plus for a cookbook, and for the most part the ingredients are those that can be found at larger grocery or health food stores. Recipes include egg, meat, seafood, and poultry dishes; soups and stews, salads, snacks. and desserts.
The fitness section starts the reader out with a basic, non-intimidating workout and a plan to gradually increase the intensity. As a middle-aged woman who isn't in great shape, I felt the workout was doable even for me. I already know eating low-carb works best for me so this book encourages me to take it to the next level to see if eating like a caveman - make that a cavewoman - will help me even more.4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

Great book - A must buy!
I have been following Sarah's blog and was excited to hear about the release of this book. It does not disappoint! This is more than just a cookbook. Sarah shares great information about paleo, her own experience, recipes and exercises. Each recipe is included with a large, beautiful picture - so you know what the dish will look like. I can't wait to try out all the recipes. This will have a permanent place in my kitchen! I am already planning on buying extra copies for family and friends.

Best Paleo Cookbook Yet!!
I couldn't wait to get my copy of Everyday Paleo in the mail, I was on the waiting list forever!! I am so pleased to find that it was worth the wait. The pictures are beautiful and appetizing, and it's a really great layout from cover to cover. I made the meatloaf recipe tonight and it was delicious!! I couldn't believe it was so good mostly because the recipe was so quick and easy, and I have faith that many more gems will come out of this book. Great job Sarah Fragoso!! I also think the exercises in the back are great because it shows you things you can do to exercise without stepping foot in the gym. I may not use them myself as I do go to a Crossfit Gym...but I still think all the exercises ie. squats with your baby in arms, or sit ups playing peek-a-boo with your child in the stroller are so cute. A++ Please get this book today if you want to give your Paleo diet a makeover. It's written by a real lady, who's a real mom, living a real life!!

Fantastic Book!!
Tons of recipes, each one with a full color photo. Eveyrthing looks so good. Lots of great advice. I've been "dabbling" with paleo for awhile but haven't gone all in due to not knowing how to get the family involved. But this book has great advice on that subject.

I got this book last week several days into my Paleo diet transf
I got this book last week several days into my Paleo diet transformation. I knew if I was going to make it work, more recipe inspiration would be required. So far I have prepared Marvelous Meatballs, Collard-Wrapped Talapia, Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Breast, and Dry Rub Burger with Yummy Yam Spears. Every single recipe so far is excellent. The ingredients are all normal things you can find at normal grocery stores (with the exception of coconut oil, which I still haven't found, but if you don't live in the middle of nowhere like me you may have better luck), and preparation is straightforward. I think some of the preparation times are a little deceptive in that Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Breast took longer than fifteen minutes to get into the oven, and I never baked a chicken breast, much less a stuffed one, that was done in twenty minutes. If you have experience cooking, you can probably tell how long the prep will take you, so I don't consider this a serious drawback.
The exercise section has good clear instructions with photos and guidance for people at all levels of fitness. I expect to get a lot of use from this book and do not hesitate to recommend it.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

30 day meal plan!
I love her story and how she was able to change her outlook on food. I think the thing that stuck out the most was her comment on trying it for 30 days. I also love the 30 day meal plan made out with grocery list. I am starting today!

Great Paleo Booster!
I have been paleo-esque for roughly 6 months now. I have had frustrations with variety and bouncing back and forth within the paleo diet and "normal healthy eating." Sarah's book really puts things into perspective and touches on other areas of your everyday life that greatly impact how you feel, eat, and general wellbeing. Having a supportive spouse is important, but if they're not on board with you, its not the end of the world. One notion that really resonated with me was "they'll notice when you stop noticing." I look forward to jumping fully into the paleo lifestyle with a new sense of security. I already notice reduced bloating, more sound sleep, and best of all THE ENERGY! Coupled with CrossFit, I am eager to feel the best I've ever felt. Thank you Sarah and I look forward to your son's Paleo Restaurant, it'd sure be a hit here in the Bay Area!

Family cooking at its finest! Must see!
For all those folks out there who are overweight, under-energized, and sick of being sick, this is the book for you. If you've ever heard of the "paleo" diet, and thought, "But what will I eat if I don't have bread, rice, spaghetti, etc.?"; this is also the book for you. Sarah provides an easily understood overview of the paleo lifestyle and lots and lots of (so far, everything I've tried) yummy recipes. You even get menus, shopping lists and suggested school lunches to get you started. I deliberately wrote lifestyle, 'cause she makes it clear this is no temporary diet: do the routine, lose the weight, sigh, go back to "real life", gain the weight, repeat ad nauseum. This is a healthy, sustainable lifestyle of which food is only one of the components. What is wonderful about the recipes is they make very clear that this is a way to eat you can enjoy for the rest of your life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who's interested in being healthy and happy.
