Disappointed
The title indicates that here was a cookbook that I could use but I ended up being very disappointed. I'm very lactose intolerant and was excited when I saw the title said "Lactose-free". But I found out that the author really means most recipes are lactose-free but there are a significant number that have plenty of lactose in them. Ingredients such as cheese, margarine, yogurt, and butter are off my plate. While a number of the recipes look like they'd be good, I don't buy a cookbook for only half the recipes. I'll be returning this book ASAP.

Wonderfully Informative!!
Like most people out there I didn't know much about being LI. This book answered all of my questions and many I didn't even think to ask. It is very informative and gives greatly detailed recipes. Including est. on the amount of calcium, sugar, lactose, etc... on each page. Also included are random bits of trivia about various ingredients included in the recipes. I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to know a little more about being LI!

Great Cookbook
Lots of great information, great recipes that are easy to prepare, a lot of variety. I use it at least once a week to try something new.
