    Not Much

This book was good because it starts out with them as young people who get back together when they are older. But it was pretty vanilla.

    Disappointing

I'd enjoyed reading the second title in this series, but was disappointed with this one. The characters seemed less appealing, and the plot weaker.

    Heartwarming story of young love

I found this story to be one of my favorites among the Lyndon Family Series. The story starts out with the classic love scene of falling in love at first sight then trails into the realities of being in love at such a young age. The doubts and fears that comes along with falling in love are very touching and at times I even shed a tear or so. I felt that although their love for each other brought on some hard struggles, both characters needed to go through that process inorder to be the person that they ended up becoming at the very end of the book. Their unconditional love for each was very heart-felt and honest. I thought that this book was very touching. I liked it that they didn't give into each so much, that they both suffered equally. Certain books in the past has made the woman vulnerable to love and forgives too easy but with this book I thought that Victoria held her own ground against Robert which I found refreshing. Overall, this was a fun read and amazing story. I would definately recommend this book.

    Wonderful!

I read this book and I was amazed. It was a new take on romeo and juliet except this time there was a happily ever after. They hadn't seen each other in 7yrs and yet they could still feel that undeniable love for each other. Touching story and a wonderful new take on love at first sight :]

    Truly amazing

This was the first novel by Julia Quinn that I read, and it did not disappoint. I love how Robert truly loves Victoria from the beginning, instead of Julia Quinn's other novels, which features the hero driven by lust/desire, which suddenly leads to his realization that he loves the heroine.

    LOVE IT!

This story is unbelievably sweet! There are plenty of romantic scenes that just melts your heart. Robert Kemble and Victoria Lyndon are a fantastic couple with great depths to them. It makes me believe in love at first sight! Julia Quinn is a great story teller and this book exceptional!

The most romantic book I ever read

Seven years ago she broke his heart : When Rober Kemble stumbles across Victoria Lyndon in a hedgerow maze , he can't believe his eyes . The girl who'd torn him in two , who let him plan an elopement and then left him standing by the side of the road , was suddenly within arm's reach , and even though his fury still knew no bounds , she was impossible to resist ..... Seven years ago he left her all but ruined : Victoria's father had told her an earl would never marry a vicar's daughter , and he was right . Robert had promised her marriage , then danced off to London while she suffered the shame of a foiled elopement . But even thought Victoria doesn't particularly enjoy her new life as a governess , when Robert offers her a job of a different sort --- his mistress --- she refuses , unable to sacrifice her honor , even for him . Can these star-crossed lovers learn to trust again ? And is love really sweeter the second time around ? I can't help but to quote the sumary at the back of the book . But truly this is the most romantic book I ever read ( and I own more than 200 romance-regency books ) The first book truly captive the magic of first love also the love of first sign blend nicely together . I mean after all what is more romantic than your man telling you , you are everything to him and he even promise you the moon .

    Everything Good About Love

I loved this book and it came up to my expectation, as most of Julia Quinn's book do. This was one of her first books ever published and you see how her style of writing only got better as time went by. Her main character's left me with both laughter and tears as I watched them develope along the story line. I read ever page and enjoyed it all. My praise can not be enough for such as well written book.
