    Fabulous book

I am hooked by this author, I finished book one and two in one day. I just could not put them down. I cried like a baby, I laughed so hard and loud that my cats left the room. I love this place, the people, all of the animals and house. A wonderful book, go ahead and buy them both at the same time, you will not be disapppinted and you will be able to jump right into book two. (After I read the first one, I went ahead and bought all of her books available on the Nook)?

Can't wait for the next one!

I have a friend who will never let me forget the day I said I love living downtown, I'd never move to the country. I've done it on a much smaller scale, just a little microfarm on my rural parcel in the Poconos but I held Jeanne's first book, Fifty Acres and a Poodle, very close to my heart. Luckily I had this volume on the shelf waiting to start on just as soon as I finished the first. She candidly shares her dreams, her hopes, and her fears, through good times and bad including the time of her mother's grave illness and finds in that trial her true calling-to be a mother. Then we go with her and Alex on that journey to parenthood. Excellent! I can't wait to read the next book. Jeanne, I'm waiting!
