    Pretty Good

This book was cool because you got to see all the different celebrities and how they have the same problems as most teenage girls. But i found myself getting a little bored towards the middle. I personally like novels better

Loved Reading Exactly As I am

Rich with collective wisdom, from numerous notable women, this book is perfect for girls and women looking to realize their full potential by accepting themselves and appreciating the unique talents and gifts that they possess. I really enjoyed reading Shawn Robinson's elegantly written book, and I think that you will too--order a copy for yourself or someone you love today.

    A must read!

Kudos to Shaun Robinson and every person who contributed to this well thought out, compelling collaboration. While written for adolescents and young adults, the stories are relevant to all age and races.
Initially, I purchased this book for my grandchildren ages thirteen and twelve. After reading a few of the entries I quickly realized I could also benefit from what is being shared by women who have overcome challenges great and small.
The stories are written in a way that makes the subject matter easy to relate to and almost every age and race is represented.
I'm sure I will be back in the store to purchase more for others...

Should be required reading for all teen girls...

I loved this book. I picked it up with the intention of skimming through it to buy for my daughter, I ended up reading the entire book cover to cover in one sitting. I bought one for my daughter and two of her friends, I will be giving it as a gift to many more girls. It is such a wonderful source of inspiration and comfort as they gain self-acceptance while countering media images telling them how they should look. It is an inspiration for women of all ages!

    So Happy!

This book was very much needed to be written. I'm so excited for Shaun and the success this book will bring to her life. So many of us women needed to be encouraged, motivated and uplifted, and this book does just that. It let's you know as a woman, that you are not alone in a world that passes such harsh judgements on you as a woman. These famous women have shared a small glimpse of their lives and have given words of encouragement to keep striving for the best. Shaun also talks openly, honestly and candidly about her experience in an industry that is most intimidating and cruel at times. She too is still striving to overcome the obstacles placed before her. Thanks Shaun. Val

"Exactly as I am" by Shaun Robinson

This much needed and long awaited book comes during a time of extreme peer pressure; identity challenges and the dual roles that women engage in, in day-to-day life. During a time when women of all ages and races have concerns with their images and identities we are thrilled to have a book that celebrates the inner-self. A book that stresses, "DO YOU!"
Shaun is a prolific writer that engages the reader and reminds us that we each have something within us to parade about, to be proud of and to toast! She reminds us that we each face many of the same questions and challenges within us whether we are reknown starlets or unreknown starlets. -- and it's okay. This book is a must read for girls of all ages. We are never too old or too young to begin to appreciate who we are!
