Must Read!! For all parents and educators of the highly gifted child...
¿The first edition of this book, published in 1993, introduced 15 remarkable children.¿ This second edition offers the most important details from the now difficult-to-obtain first edition, and continues from that time, offering an additional 10-year follow-up to the first 10 years of those children¿s unique educational journeys, as well as introducing 3 new children from the study of 60+ children.

Exceptionally gifted children are rare, and their educational needs are like no others. Depending on the school, teachers, and parents, their educational journeys may be very different. From this study, we learn which educational paths led to success, and which paths were detours, or worse. Follow these children through their educational and social / emotional odyssey to adulthood.

Learn about the negative effects of long-term enforced underachievement on some of these exceptional children, while others thrived in carefully considered educational options including radical acceleration plus enrichment.

No other study has focused so long and in such detail on the exceptionally gifted child. If you have, or teach, or counsel an exceptionally gifted child, you MUST READ Exceptionally Gifted Children.
