    An Excellent Read - Highly Recommeded

    Thank you Carla for sharing your experiences in an honest and candid manner.

    I was able to relate to so many of the scenarios presented. Often times, we think silence in meetings can be good, but I agree you will never be recognized. Approximately 3 years ago, my VP was a tirant. Controlling, manipulating and literally I allowed her to put me in a position of being muted to avoid any confrontation. I was placed on a project supporting another LOB and was amazed that I still had a voice and others were supportive, cooperative, collabarating - it was great.

    I transitioned out of the department and have since been promoted to Director. If I would have had your book 3 years ago, it would have help tremendously.
