A Great Book on Motion Graphics
I highly recommend this book to anyone teaching any motion graphics or multimedia class! My students love the interviews with the motion graphics professionals and get so much out of all of the wonderful visuals in the book and on the DVD (included with the book). The DVD is wonderful and includes interviews and the designers work so the students can see it as it should be seen, not just as a flat still on the book page. The chapter on color is in full-color with lots of visuals. The authors cover both design issues and technical issues for every medium from film to interactive design, but the book is not software specific so it can be used in any multimedia class. There are great exercises at the end of each chapter, some are software based (PhotoShop, Flash, AfterEffects), and others are not, which gives you a lot to choose from. I started using this book for the fall semester and told my school to adopt it as a textbook starting in the spring. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
