Love AC Andrew books
Good book I like when I can go from one book to another to continue the story. I love the way AC Andrew write, it keeps my attention and it is hard to put down his books. A lot of books they lose my attention and I fall asleep.

OK series
I get most of my books for my nook color from the public library because I read so fast, they did not have book 3 of this series so I purchased. Just an OK series, nothing to write home about.

just finished eye of the storm..what freaks the hudson's are!!
So far I have really enjoyed the Hudson series from v.c Andrews. I love Rain. However, how is it that every male that Rain comes across is in love with her. I mean come on!! Lighting Strikes proved that Hudson's are freaks!! What was up with her uncle Richard and the cottage. Let's not even talk about Aunt Victoria in Eye of the storm. Very strange. The only likeable characters were Grandmother Hudson and Rain herself. I truly felt bad for Rain, wow. Eye of the Storm has to be my favorite out of this series thus far. We'll see how summer makes out in end of the rainbow.

Great book with a few errors
This book was intriguing, however, I found a few mechanical errors. Finding such errors indicates carelessness so therefore I was a bit put off. Anyhow, I enjoy the original series actually produced by V.C. Andrews...I feel that they are more adult and I have a hard time reading the new series because they seem more juvenile. However, it may be that I am just getting older. I miss Andrews and wish she was still writing novels.

I think the book was great!!!
I think the book was good.It had many surprising parts in the story like when it took a great twist and Troy was alive and what Fanny had did to Logan. These books on the Casteels series are really great they take you into another world as if u were watching a movie.I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

A Good Read
I really enjoyed this whole series. I was especially glad to see an african-american heroine in a popular series. I've read every VC book since Flowers, and of the ghostwritten ones this series is my fave.

One of the best V.C. Andrews novels I've ever read.
I adored it. I've read alot by V.C. Andrews, and this was one of the best. My sister was in an accident recently so I could kind of relate to Rain. It had alot of the same points as other books by this author, but it was composed beautifully. I'm only 13, and I read more than most, and this was one the best books I have ever read.

I have read and collected every one of V.C. Andrews books, I look forward to the next series that they do. I became hooked on her books as soon as I finished Flowers in The Attic.

a masterpiece
the book is well written and full of suspense. the character descriptions were very vivid. I like the way aunt victoria (the villian) slowly developed into a witch, with a cause, rather than usual evil with person with no reason at all plot.that some books display. The book was very sad at times.however, by the 13th chapter the end result of the book became obvious.

Can't put it down
All of the V.C. Andrews books are so good. They are hard to put down, and I read this one in 3 days.

I love this book
I have been reading the hudson searies since they first started to come out. and i end up haveing to wait for anothier to come out cause i read these books within days because i never want to put the book down. This story is so sad. I even caught my self crying for rain like i was there and i could feel her pain. There are not many books I can say that about. But hey I can't wait to read the end of the rainbow!

Definitely recycled
Rachelle is right, it is the same old thing. Some things that I would like to point out: Paralyzed girl held captive by bad relative was also in the book 'Gates of Paradise.' In fact, this whole series is based on the 'Dawn' and 'Heaven' books. (Girl living with poor family realizes that she was misplaced at birth and returns to rich family to attend private school.) Roy's attraction to Rain is a rerun of 'Dawn' although with a slight twist. Anyway, I think that the Andrews estate needs to get a new writer with some different storylines. But why do I read it? Because it's like a soap opera--you're embarassed about it, but it's so entertaining. Is anyone with me here?

Same Old Thing
Girl either doesn't have a good mom or mother figure, or loses one before the nitty-gritty part of the book. It's all happened before. I'm tired of always reading the same old plot line, seeing this 'innocent' girl be seduced, raped, taken advantage of by peers and guys. She's always perfect, strong, beautiful...this is making me sick. But hey, other than that, it's a good book. I have to say, I was secretly happy Rain got paralized. It was something slightly different from the usual-main character comes out perfect in the end- theme. But of course, this Ghost Writer had to make Rain half white also. Couldn't make a beautful, strong character that was completely black, with a rich family and a poor family without making the rich family white, now could he/she? Well, at least it's a start. If you nevermind all that, then it's a good book. I've read every V.C Andrews book-written by her, AND her insufficiant replacement. Not to be mean, this Ghost Writer is good and all, but not able to portray V.C Andrews. She had a twist in her story telling that no one can replace.

This book is so real
I loved this book! I have read all of V.C. Andrews books, and they just keep getting better and better. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat, and it feels as if you are in the mansion with rain watching what goes on before your very eyes

The best book in a long time
This had me from page one. It was so suspenseful i could not put it down. I love the hudson series and hope this talented author writes more of it . The book makes you look at your own life and see its not as bad as Rains life.

The only author I will read
I was hooked on it from the moment I started and read the whole book in 2 days. The book is very suspenseful and keeps you guessing about what will happen next. It also seems so real and I catch myself thinking like the character in the story. The book was awesome as well as the two before it, but all of V.C. Andrews' books are great!!! I am anxiously waiting for The End of the Storm.
