I read a lot of romance books. I read erotica, historical, harlequin and was worried that this would be boring. NO WAY! This book made me laugh, cry and share snipits with my family. It is a great book to read and re-read. I've went ahead and got other books by her and have not been disappointed. It's nice to feel hopeful, happy and inspired with books and these will deliver all three.

A Cute Romance

I immediately learned to appreciate Mary. Although the word choice needs work, some parts were extreemly unrealistic, and "cheesy" found its head everywhere, the story was still captivating. A number of life lessons can be found from reading this story.

It's a sweet, quick read and if you like the author's other books, then this story won't let you down.
**Just a side note: You should read her other books before this one because the stories intertwine (A Bride for Tom & A Husband for Margaret).

This was enjoyable plain Jane, homesteading, mail order bride romance. The characters were lovely. It would have been 4 stars but I
thought the ending did not follow character and made th book more common than it needed to be. It has a lovely HEA. It has sequel
but I am happy to leave things where they are with this couple.

    Recommend this

I love stories like this. Mary was as plain as her name and couldn't be as nice as described, but if people couldn't see beyond the physical there would be a lot more lonely people in this world.
