    He's Back!!

He's back! Her heart stops as she sees him ride into town on the back of his Harley. But he isn't alone, and her heart sinks as she sees the beautiful woman sitting on the seat behind him. He left town two years ago, and she knows that her feelings for him have not changed. But it sure looks like he hasn't been thinking of her, at least not in the same way. It is then that LeAnne McVeigh notices that there is another biker with Snake, as does her friend, Dr. Whitney Montgomery. The other man is Egan Tate. He is a member of the Lords of Lucifer bike club. Or was, until he took off with Randy Craig's, the Chief and founder of the Lords, girlfriend, Virginia Summers. The three of them ride past LeAnne and Whit, as they stand on the corner, without so much as an acknowledgment, and stop at a nearby bar. As Leanne watches them go into the bar she wonders what would bring Marcus 'Snake' Gallego back to Napoleon, Ohio, and who is that woman he brought back with him. It won't be long before she finds out. Later, after leaving the bar, Snake, Tate, and Ginny go to Snakes house to rest up from the long ride from LA. After a short rest Snake and Tate decide to go out for some fun, but Ginny decides to stay home and get some sleep. When Snake and Tate return home later that night, it is deja vu all over again. Ginny is found in Snakes bed, tied up, beaten, raped and killed. Just like Snake's wife, Jillian, had been found two years earlier. LeAnne, being the homicide detective is called in to investigate, and with her comes Whit, as she is the Deputy Coroner. As they talk there seems to be an instant chemistry between Tate and Whit. However Whit knows it will never work. They come from completely different worlds. There are several suspects in the killing of Ginny, however one seems to stand out more than the others. Snake knows it isn't him, however he has to convince everyone else of that fact. In trying to do so he pulls others into a world that they never would have dreamed of being in. In the process getting the answers to a lot of questions that have remained unanswered for a very long time. Ms. Rasey has written a spellbinding sequel to her previous book KISS OF DECEIT. As with KISS OF DECEIT, EYES OF BETRAYAL has everything that a reader could want in a book. It has suspense, thrills, mystery, intrigue, murder, and sensual/sexual moments. Some of the characters are now old friends. They bring the same excitement, intrigue, and life to an already fascinating story. They feel real, full of passion and life. And there are some new ones, with just as much passion and life. Ms. Rasey has a special talent in making even the most hardened character very likable. She shows their vulnerability and you find yourself actually cheering them on towards their objective. EYES OF BETRAYAL starts off where KISS OF DECEIT left, answering many questions as to why certain people are the way that they are, and why things happened the way that they did. It also brings together the one couple you wished would get together, as well as opening a whole new romance for another. EYES OF BETRAYAL is a very fast paced story that reads so smoothly that you cannot put it down. You have to know what is going to happen on the next page. Before you know it you have reached that last page and are left breathless, wanting more. I highly recommend EYES OF BETRAYAL to everyone. Anyone who likes a fast paced mystery/thriller with a lot of intrigue is going to love this book. The only problem I had with Ms Rasey's EYES OF BETRAYAL, and that goes for all her books, is that she always leaves you wanting more. She just can't write them fast enough for me.
