    Great YA book

The female teenage Christian rock band Redemption has begun climbing the ladder of success and even becoming recognized in malls while on tour. However, the trio of high school students, Chloe Miller, Allie Curtis, and Laura Mitchell has other concerns besides the music though they each trust in the Lord to guide them. Allie and Laura wonder about what to wear at the prom while Chloe knows that she really likes twenty-one years old Jeremy Baxter of the Iron Cross band....................................... A fellow student back Harrison High sends emails to Chloe asking for help in finding her way to God. However, Chloe has a difficult time turning the other cheek as Tiffany Knight beat her up a couple of years ago. Will Chloe, who refuses to open the emails, forgive and assist Tiffany on the path as the singer knows God expects of her or will she continue to believe that Tiffany could never find the Lord?.............................. This is an engaging young adult Christian novel that follows the trials, tribulations, and beliefs of three young ladies on tour. The story line is predominately told by Chloe, but fans get a deep look at all three teens plus their retinue and the members of Iron Cross. FACE THE MUSIC is a warm tale that brings to life the importance that anyone can be saved if people take a chance on risking rejection by their peers but acceptance by the Lord........................................... Redemption

In the book Face the Music by Melody Carlson, three girls Chloe, Allie, and Laura are all very musically inclined. The three girls are all in a Christian rock band named ¿Redemption¿. When you read the book the three girls are on the road doing concerts and opening for a very popular christen Rock group, Iron Cross. While on the road there is romance and someone does something they will regret latter in life. During holidays the girls go home visit with their families and go back to school for awhile. After a long break from the road the girls finally go back on their tour. You will find out all the juicy details if you read this book Face the Music, by Melody Carlson. Overall I really liked this book. Sometimes when I would get into the book I would have to stop reading if the bell would ring or I would have to do something at home. Sometimes the book would drag a little but I still enjoyed it. There are different books you could read also like My Name Is Chloe, Sold Out, and the Color Me Jealous series all by Melody Carlson. His book doesn¿t remind me of any Television shows that I have seen. I would recommend this to Girls because boys may not be very interested in these types of books. This book really opened my eyes. The girls all give you really good information about how to live a good life.

    ASTONISHING!!!!

I found this book to be extremely entertaining. Its detail of rock music along with religion related in such ways that it kept me longing to read more. Chloe was a rebel back in the day and then turned to god and music to stay out of trouble. Now her band, Redemption, is gaining popularity and is on tour. Love begins to break loose and secrets are told. As a christian rock band there are certain boundaries as in not having certain 'relations' with the opposite sex. Chloe begins falling for a guy who is many years older than her and has known him for quite some time. Her parental tour guide refused for her to ever be alone with this man because she did not want Chloe to make any mistakes. At the end of the book the author leaves your mind to wonder, you don't know what is going to happen with Chloes' band and relationships.
