This is the best facial exercise book and cd available.

I bought this book on the clearance shelf after I had pent close to $50 for Carole Maggio's "Facercise". This book/dvd set is much better and cost a lot less. There are diagrams of the facial muscles with instructions for exercises and massages in the book and on the DVD. The DVD is a must-watch in order to perform the exercises properly. I have been doing the exercises at least daily since the end of May and definitely see results.

The only downside is that the examples are only shown once for each exercise and they need to be performed three times each. Therefore, you must pause the DVD to perform three sets before proceeding instead of doing them while you are watching until you get the exercises down.

    Very Effective!

I noticed slight differences after a few days of following the Beginner excercises. After about a month, I no longer needed to do Botox, and I love the way my lips look now..I have no desire to get them plumped with injectable fillers, and it even shortened the distance from my upper lip to my nose, resulting in a much more youthful (and sexy)appearance.

I was concerned about facial excercises before reading this book because I wondered if it would create wrinkles from repetitions, but these excercises aren't extreme contortions, (and you use moisturizer before), so that's not a worry. This program has greatly improved my facial appearance and my self-esteem.

Like any excercise, you must maintain it daily..I notice at times when I stop for a week or so, I notice my forehead wrinkles come back a bit as well the other tone..but since it only takes about 5 min. a day, there's no reason to quit doing them, in my opinion anyways.

A huge thank you to the author!!

    Very Nifty

I have lost a lot of weight and decided to try it to tone up my face. It has been doing that, but the best part for me was it has helped my lazy eye. I have worn glasses for years and over time my right eye has become lazy when my glasses are not on. Since I have started the exercises it has improved greatly and I don't feel self-conscious about taking my glasses off anymore. I highly recommend it.

    It Actually Works

Last year, I bought this and had trouble finding time to start the facial fitness routines, glad I finally did. I am sure I'm not the best at consistancy so far but the exercises do appear to be helping. It's full of helpful surprises like a list of edibles that are not good for our complexions. For example the biggie for me was "Silica: While it is not harmful in itself, it may be contaminated with crystalline silica, which causes cancer." p. 118 It's definitely a motivator to pay more attention to food, drink and even water bottle lables.

    This works!

I was noy sure if these exercises would really work. I stuck with them and in less than 1 month I see results. I don't need botox anymore.
