    Wonderful Present

This is a marvelous collection of the writings of the Catholic church Fathers. It has a useful index by topics which is very useful for anyone involved in Apologetics or research on the early church. Also, it serves to disprove many of the false claims of some other 'Bible?' churches regarding their origins as apostolic.

    Exceptional

It was this set of books that finally convinced me to become and Orthodox Christian. History is history and that can't be denied. When I read this collection, I had to come to terms with myself that I was wrong in my previous assumptions and that the faith of the earliest to the latest of the church fathers is congruent and identical with that of the Holy Catholic and Apostolic Orthodox Church founded by Christ and the Apostles. 431, 451, and 1054 were all severe and unfortunate years but the Orthodox Church alone kept the pure, true, and correct doctrines. The early church and the Bible professed Mary as 'Theotokos', Christ in two natures; human and divine, that all bishops are equal in status and cound not rule over by another, and that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father alone. If only more of material such as this were read, Protestanism would cease to exist and all would be Orthodox again.
