I have to admit I was most excited for this book because of the couple. Though I did love the book. After such a delay from September to December to February. I was hoping for a book with more length and actual content. There was so much on just basically about eating and other characters. I would of loved to read more about Nick and Beth. Their story and how they really came to love eachother. It felt more like they both kept saying there was no love then hey I love you. Like I said I loved it, but Beth and Nick are my favorite couple and I definitely wouldnt of complained if there was alot more to have read about them.

Least favorite of the Danvers Series

I was really looking forward to the 3rd book, but it didn't quite live up to the 1st two books. Suzy, Claire, Gray, Jason, Nick, and even Mr & Mrs Merimon were all witty, compassionate, and captivating characters. I felt for them and could identify with them as if they truly existed. Unfortunately, I found myself wanting to skip the pages containing Beth and her thoughts.
I understand insecurity, body image issues, and even eating disorders. I am a Nurse Practitioner and worked in a weight management clinic for several years. But the storyline with Beth made me want to pull out my hair! She was the most annoying, obnoxious, self pitying character I've ever seen. I just couldn't stand it. The self pity was just too much to take. It turned me off so much that if not for continuing story of the other characters, I absolutely would not have finished this book!
I haven't given up, though. Because I so loved the 1st books in the series, I'll read the next one when it comes out. Hopefully, this was just a fluke. Please go back to the strong, funny, caring women; and, of course, the strong, sexy, compassionate men! No more whiny, selfish, weak, self pitying women!

Not my favorite of this series. I liked that the book dealt with the serious issue that many women have about their body image. Beth has gone from being overweight to being too skinny that she endangers herself and others. Nick is surprisingly a breath of fresh air. He really stepped up the plate and wanted to be a better man. Yes, he messes up but definitely makes up for it. For me, I like my romance books to not really go into too much time on depressing issues otherwise I would have given this book 5 stars.

    Fall For Me

This author includes far too much detail in sex scenes for my taste.

    mediocre at best

i loved Suzy and Gray's story so much that i was REALLLLYYYYY excited about this one and preordered it. First, let me say that it was sharter than I anticipated (roughly 200 pages). I also was a bit thrown that it seemed to start in the middle of Nick and Beth's story. No real background. or anything. It would have been helpful if we dived a bit into the second book and seen thier introductions and getting to annoy each other phase a bit from their own persectives. That being said, I would suggest that you read the 2nd book in this series just for a bit more of a foundation.
im not sure if this is the author's fault, or mine for being an avid romance novel reader, but the dialouge seemed so forced and fake at time. There were some funny parts but i found myself skipping whole conversations.
The plot seemed really rushed with very little time spent on character development. It was very much as follows:

"He doesnt love me...She doesnt love me..I dont love him at all, but the sex is great...I cant love any woman...."

    then BAM...

It's all "OMG!!! It's tuesday and I think I'm in love with this person." Yeah.......right.
This book is a good way to excape from the daily stresses of life but its best not to havve your hopes too high.
