    Best thriller ever!!! Incredibly fun!

I am such a big fan of thrillers and Christopher Pike¿s Falling is undoubtedly the best! A fascinating read about betrayal and revenge that is a must-read for anyone who has been cheated on and discarded like garbage. When Matt discovers that the love of his life has been sleeping with another man, his pain is beyond comprehension and the only way to ease his agony is by making Amy pay. He kidnaps her baby and suddenly finds himself pursued by FBI agent Kelly Feinman who has also recently gone through heartbreak. Kelly¿s pain helps her identify with Matt. Her husband also discarded her when he replaced her with a younger woman after being attacked by the Acid Man, a bloodcurling serial killer who is intent on destroying her. Their shared suffering brings them together to fight against those who have done them wrong. I cannot say enough good things about Falling. It¿s exciting, intricate, fast-paced, and incredibly clever! And the Acid Man alone makes this book worth the read. Christopher Pike¿s serial killer is more fascinating and terrifying than Hannibal Lecter.

If you loved Pike as a young adult you will love this adult novel!!!!

On the cover of the book there is a quote something like reading the book is like crack cocaine. TRUE!!!! (not that I would know) but I mean I am a true thriller/horror lover. My most favorite auther is Dean Koontz, but I saw this out for sale I bought it thinking 'ill try it' and I am so glad I did. If you like one that you pick up and cant put down till the end then this is YOUR BOOK!!!!

    more from this reviewer

    Fantastic!

Wonderful book that kept me turning the pages. Not for the faint of heart. There are some very graphic senarios that are quite disturbing. Lots of twists and turns due to the changing first person views. Great book that should be read by all who like murder mysteries and crime novels!

    Great Book!

I really enjoyed this book! I couldn't help but fall in love with one of the main characters. In fact, both of the two main characters are great. This book is so amazing that I am online looking for more books by Christopher Pike that I haven't read yet. I think that says it all.

Pike is back and better than ever

I was able to get an advanced readers copy of this book and I could not put it down. It didn't have the supernatural themes that many of his books have but did have many of the same themes he has used in the past. It also used his story-within-a-story technique which I love. He writes great FBI agent and 'anti' hero characters. There is a Clarice/Hannibal Lecter relationship between two characters which is very interesting (in fact there is even a mention of Hannibal's name in the book) - it is definitely reminiscent of 'Silence of the Lambs' but also quite original. I really enjoyed this book and think that if you like C. Pike, you will love it. I have been a fan of his for about 13-14 years now.
