OMG these books are amazing. my friend was reading the second book and she didn't know wat was goin on then i was like can i read it and she said sure i read the second 3rd then 1st now reading them all over again LOVE LOVE LOVE this book can't wait till next book hope they have a lond series like 10.

Awsome I'm Hooked

I bought this book a few days ago and read it in 2 days it is really exciting. I haven't read the 1st and 2nd but im so gonna buy them. I can't wait for the 4th to learned what happens with Austin and Katlin you just have to read it.

SECRETS OF MY HOLLYWOOD LIFE:FAMILY AFFAIRS BY JEN CALONITA is an amazing book full of glamour and pure fun!!!! i absolutely loved it and could nvr put it down!!!! This novel kept me on my toes and had me laffing the whole time! With a good plot, fun characters, and Kaitlin's witty humor, this book is considered 1 of my favorites. Read the whole series; it is sooo inspiring and fun!!!!! Kaitlin Burke 4ever!!!! <3 :}

Splendid Book

This book, like many others that I've read, is wonderful. It's by Jen Calonita, and the story is set in present-day time. It's about a teen movie star named Kaitlin Burke that returns to life on the set of primetime drama Family Affairs after shooting a soon-to-be-blockbuster movie "Pretty Young Assassins". The new diva, Alexis, makes even Kaitlin's long-time archenemy Skye MacKenzie seem like a brat in judgment. Kaitlin starts to wonder if she can keep her perfect boyfriend, her crazy job, and her self-control in the face of this new star power. This book is very thrilling. You can never predict what will happen.

A MUST HAVE!

This shows that life being famous isn't all its cracked up to be. This book is an extreme roller coaster

Kaitlyn Burke just wrapped up her summer movie which included her co-star Sky - her nemesis. She's headed back to her day job - the popular drama Family Affairs. This season a new character appears for a story arc. While Alexis seems friendly, nice, and charming, there's something a little off. Sky makes her feelings known to Kaitlyn, Alexis is out to steal their jobs and make them look bad. at first Kaitlyn dismisses Sky's idea, but she vows to take a closer look at her co-star.

The new "IT" girl seems to be making splashes wherever she goes. She's talking up Kaitlyn's boyfriend and making diva demands one minute and then becomes a demure newbie the next.

Will Alexis push Kaitlyn over the edge and drag down the family drama?

This is the 3rd book in the Secrets of My Hollywood Life series and I adore them. I devour these books that contain drama, Hollywood secrets, romance, friendship issues, and work.

The series was just killed-by this book!

I adored the first two books in this series! Very well written and inavative. But this was a disappointment. Thank goodness I borrowed it,and didn't buy it!
This book was so hard to get through! The whole book is mainly about Kaitlyn,this little brat complaining about not seeing her boyfriend and losing her job and trying to get a new one and her breaking down,but then everything gets better and better and she's still complaining. There is probably 15 pages that are good and the rest are pointless!
All Caitlyn does in the whole book is complain!

Amazing!

I was at the library one day, when i saw an old friend, she recomended this book.
I glance at the title and say to my self "I'll give it a try."
I open it when i get home and I couldnt put it down! I was so amazed on how GREAT this book is, it has drama, thrill, romance, and when ur at the end of it I had to catch my breath.
Austin has to be my favorite character next to Kaitlyn ,
There such a cute couple and i never want them to break up.
I cant wait to start reading Family Affairs im actually excited!
Im not usually the one who reads a lot of books, but this series got me
completely hooked!
I feel as if I know the characters, and I feel like i personally hate Sky my self. PLEASE make a dozen more to the series Jen!
I will recomend this to all my friends :)

Great Book

This book was a real fun read. You should read the other books first. I think there have been better books but not many. I really sugest this book for teen girls who have enjoyed the other books.

When I first saw this book at my school book fair it took me by surprise. At first I thought it was a book about a girl living the unforgetable life everyone wants to live. Then I read the back of the book and it hooked me on " How do I know? You've probaly already gussed. I'm one of them." That one single statemant hooked me to the book.
As I read through the book, i loved how Jen Calonita made it so Kaitlyn seemed like a normal soap opera star,with a crazy life then started to want to be normal. As the book progresses with details most people find it hard to enclude, like the famous Hollywood secreats it seams as if Kaitlyn is getting deeper in to drama and things way over her head!
The book is filled with suspense and real events that occur in a stars life that we all know about but do not see off screen!
Secrets of My Hollywood life is an awsome book for young adults and people who want to get the feel of how it is to be a celeberity and what comes along with the name!

FAMILY AFFAIRS follows teen superstar, Kaitlin Burke, as she wraps up her new movie, Pretty Young Assassins, and returns to shooting Family Affairs, the hit TV show she's starred on since she was a little girl.

But all is not well on the set.

The new girl, Alexis, proves to be a plotting new actress. She was supposed to be on the show for only a few episodes but, with her magic ways, ends up convincing everyone to let her stay. Everyone, that is, except for Kaitlin and her old enemy, Skye. They aren't falling for her act and it seems they're the only ones who aren't. Especially when horrible press stories start popping up in magazines, making them not only look bad to their fellow castmates but also to the producers.

There's only one thing for them to do, but that would involve them working together. Can they even begin to pull it off?

I've been a fan of the SECRETS OF MY HOLLYWOOD LIFE series since I read the first one awhile back. FAMILY AFFAIRS, the third book in the series, is, by far, my favorite. It takes the same drama from the previous books and adds a new twist to it. The characters all seem to mature, making them even more likeable and (dare I say it) realistic! The plot is definitely the most original one so far and there's tons more action than in previous books.

Basically, I recommend it to all fans of the series, even if you were a bit disappointed by book two, ON LOCATION.

Amazing

i love this book i have recently gve the wole series to my friend and she loves this series she read the 3 books in 4 days because everyday i would give her one each day but i didn't know when she was done the 2nd so i say she finished actually in 3 days she stays up all night just to read . You will love this book when u get into the 2 or 3rd chapter you will not want to put the book down Even if u just start on this book then go read the 2nd and 1st u will understand and love the series can't wait for the next one to come out hope they have a lond series and make a movie out of this book (but if they make a movie from this book they have to put all info not cut like half the info like harry potter 3 and on) READ THIS BOOK RIGHT NOW

BEST BOOK I HAVE READ IN A WHILE

ok when i read the first one I was sad to see it end. So i got the 2nd and 3rd book and all together it took me 3 days to read the 3 books. Now i can't wait till March 2009 for the fourth book. I really hope there is a 5th one.
