    Very interesting & fresh ideas.

This is book has got some pretty good ideas in here. My favorite parts so far are compository animals. Which is basically like a servitor in which you can create to serve you in some way by designing its characteristics and features, then making a physical representation of the animal or being in which it can be attached to. Such as a statue or drawing. She even goes as far to say that you can create your own species. Some being like maybe a wolf with hawk wings she gives for example.

The other part I really like is shapeshifting. Which talks about the non-physical part of it in which you invoke the animal within you giving it a limited control over your body or to allow your self to adapt the traits of using an animal through other means.

I think this book is good for a beginner or even an advanced practitioner. There is a lot of explanations and ideas from the author and from others. It's not like those typical books which have explanations of animals listed in the authors perspective. She gives you ideas on how to create your own ways of doing things, which a very fresh for me.

If you need a book to start out reading in animal magick, this is the book you're looking for.
