This book is about a girl 'Marcia' that was her mothers helper, but Marcia's mom was pregnat & a girl named Fannie was going to cook for Marcia's mom. When Fannie arrived Marcia didn't like Fannie but time passed & Marcia liked Fannie because Marcia's mom spended alot of time with the baby so Marcia spended alot of time with Fannie in the kitchen. I recomend this book because it can really inspire you to be a chef & cook really delicious meals, because the story has deatiles about how delicious Fannies meals were for example it says that her mashed potatos were flufier than clouds & blueberry pies were sweeter than a summer sky that made me want to eat mashed potatos and pies, so if this book recomendation can convince you to cook get your apron & start cooking!!!Was this review helpful? This is a delightful children's book that will appeal to adults, too. It's historical fiction about the real Fannie Farmer. The illustrations are warm and humorous. If your kids like to cook, this is the book for you!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
