I received an ARC for an honest review. I loved it! I have read all of Lauren Blakely's books and this is my new Favorite. Matthew and Jane are sexy, Fun and Flirty! Jane is a Rock Star that writes and sings about Heartbreak and Matthew is a tough music critic and when they get they get together it is an instant connection. I fell in love with the characters from the start. Their chemistry is beautiful and hot! There is humor and emotional and it is the perfect mix. I highly recommned reading it.

Not great

## I can't recommend this book. It was 230 pages but felt like 700. With some books that's an advantage. Not so here. I was bored by most of it. The entire book revolves around Jane and her writers block. The romance took a back seat. Like the third row in an SUV. I did...
## I can't recommend this book. It was 230 pages but felt like 700. With some books that's an advantage. Not so here. I was bored by most of it. The entire book revolves around Jane and her writers block. The romance took a back seat. Like the third row in an SUV. I did like the heroine but couldn't muster up much fondness for the hero. His job as a journalist was always there as a reminder that journalists like to shock their readers by revealing private information about celebrities. And they know they hurt people along the way but do it anyway because they need to be honest. Yeah, ok....Along with Jane, I had doubts that he was sincere. Something about him just rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sorry to say that I won't be reading this again.

    Almost gave up...

I almost gave up on this book. Very slow start, but I was able to finish. A pretty good read after all.

I gave Far Too Tempting 3.5 Stars. *I received an ARC in exchan

I gave Far Too Tempting 3.5 Stars.

*I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.*

I am so torn over my review for this book, I was flitting between 3.5/4 stars. Far Too Tempting started off really strong for me. I was in love with Jane from page one. Jane had her heart broken and her world shattered, so she penned a 'break up' album that took the world by storm. I adore Adele and the beginning of the book had that vibe of a strong female pouring her feelings into song. I really wanted Jane's album to be real! I would buy it in an instant.

Then entered Matthew, he was a music journalist who had been following Jane's career and wanted an exclusive interview about her overnight success after slogging away for years with her music. Jane had a young son she wanted to keep out of the limelight and also an ex-husband with his own revelations she didn't want exposed.

As I said the first 50% of the book I loved, I loved getting to know Jane and her background, I loved her supportive family and I loved the flirting and mixed messages with Matthew. Once Jane started to record her follow up album I felt the pace slowed a little and the story lost some fizz. Matthew was a sweet hero, and sweet can be good but I do like them a little rough around the edges ;) Yes there were plenty of hot smexy times but it didn't leap off the page for me. The word tame came to mind. I did remind myself it is an adult book so maybe the fast pace of New Adult was what I was expecting but nonetheless I couldn't help want more from the storyline when Jane spent her time in the studio. At one point I worried that Jane was going to make a foolish move but I was pleasantly surprised when the plot took an unexpected turn, for Matthew to then go and mess things up!

I did like the growth Jane went through, after years of being in a loveless marriage, on her ex-husband's side, Jane had to regain her confidence and realise she was a sexy vixen and she was worthy of being worshipped. I liked this element and as always Lauren Blakely writes kick ass heroines!

If you are a fan of Lauren Blakely's books then you will adore Far Too Tempting. Although it is not my favourite of the bunch, there are all the elements of a great read; love, self discovery and good ol' smexy times :) And if you are a fan of music then it's all tied up in a neat little package so you need to 1-Click this today!
