Kept me reading....

Very sexy parts. I think that they way she writes I will like her style and I am going to go look for another book she has written.

Where were the fast women?

This book could have been so much better. The women should have bunkered down to create their own agency in the end. I've read 5 Crusie novels and I think this one was at the bottom of the list. Once again, Crusie floods the work with characters you don't get to know....

    Predictable

Just a fair story and simple.

    ambitious disappointment

Fast Women, although funny, was an ambitious disappointment. I kept reading for the humor and to see how the mystery ended. But there were too many characters and most of them were, or had been, related to each other. It became so confusing to keep the relationships straight that I had to draw myself a diagram. Also, I tried to get a sense of their ages but the story's back history was too convoluted. To be fair, math was never my thing. Even so, I shouldn't have had to work that hard for a romance novel. The female characters were annoying and spent way too much time discussing their china. If this had been a made-for-TV movie, the minor characters would have stolen the show easily. The resolution was glossed over as if Crusie ran out of steam. And that not only let down the reader it let down the characters as well.
